He also created a Persian astronomical calendar, published since 1985

Founder of the Modern Zoroastrianism Movement-Siyavash Awesta established the "Modern Zoroastrians" movement, offering a philosophical and non-religious interpretation of Zarathustra’s teachings. He reintroduces concepts such as Asha (Truth), Farvahar

Music and White Garments in Funeral Ceremonies-Although music had been banned in Iranian funerals for 1400 years, in 1990, upon his mother’s passing, Awesta introduced a new model: a ceremony on a boat on the Seine in Paris, with Azeri music and mourners dressed in white.

The Farvahar Cap and the Revival of a National Symbol-In 1985, Awesta revived the Farvahar symbol, which had been censored in Iran. He made it the emblem of his school and cultural institute, printed it on T-shirts, pendants, and pins, and distributed it widely.

Persian-Style Marriage Ceremonies in Persian Language-Awesta abolished the Islamic marriage contract traditionally recited in Arabic—which he deemed degrading to women—and created an Aryan-style marriage contract in Persian. Today, 95% of Iranian couples worldwide opt for this format, and even Iran’s religious authorities have been forced to legally recognize it.
